Collaboration between Islands

October 19, 2021
Mental Health Foundation St. Maarten’s financial and operations director Sandro Garica and the foundations psychologist Tameke Lambert are heading to Aruba for the signing of a Collaboration Agreement between the Dutch Caribbean Islands on October 29th, 2021.

This year’s theme by the WHO (World Health Organization) is "Mental health care for all: let's make it a reality!"
In relation to World Mental Health Month the Dutch Caribbean Islands have decided to meet, to make cooperation a reality.

The intention of this collaboration is to strengthen and improve care on the Islands. In the long term, the idea is to be able to support each other with quality care programs, education programs and activities.

Representatives of Aruba, Respaldo, Saba, St. Eustatius and Bonaire, Mental Health Caribbean and GGZ Curaçao will be present to exchange information regarding care and share methods.
