Remembering Ms. Eileen Healy, a pioneering leader whose warmth, advocacy and dedication shaped our Foundation.
We are very saddened to make the following announcement: we are saying goodbye to our Founding Director, Eileen Healy, the driving force behind our organization’s mission and values.
As an essential person in laying the groundwork on which our organization stands, we will truly and deeply miss our Eileen and her unwavering dedication and commitment to taking care of others.
Eileen was empathetic, an outstanding leader, a trailblazer and a decisive advocate for mental health. She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her and to everyone who had the privilege of crossing paths with her. She was someone with a sincere and warm heart who reached out and touched the lives of everyone who was around her. Her dedication to ensuring that mental health services were compassionate, accessible and of the highest standard of care has shaped the way we serve our community today.
Those who were lucky enough to work with Eileen have remembered her not only as an excellent leader but also as an inspiration and source of unending encouragement. She inspired people to be their best, created an atmosphere for collaboration and promoted the idea that everyone deserves dignity and support.
On behalf of the board, management and the entire staff of the Mental Health Foundation we would like to extend our sincerest condolences to her family, friends and colleagues who have been touched by her remarkable life and service. She will be deeply missed by all of us.
